We all strive to be something or someone in our lives, at some point. In school I wanted to be a fashion designer, in college I wanted to be a fashion icon, in higher education I wanted to create history.
So many strategies were built, so many ideas were generated, so many problems were faced and resolved and so many relations were made and broken, to achieve a feeling of settlement.
This feeling of settlement is nothing more than a feeling, is something I didn’t realize.
The feeling almost always comes with the feeling of being happy and content.
Happiness is relative, some feel it when they are in love, some feel it when they shop, and some feel it when they achieve accolades, when they sleep, so on and so forth. It is never constant, it is never permanent. There is no such thing as permanence. Hence, in this state of realization, that what we want to be, how we want to settle, why we want to be happy, is the feeling of nothingness.
